TESOL-SPAIN 2026 will be held in the vibrant city of Sevilla, a place where language, culture, and history dance together in colour, rhythm, and warmth.

Our theme this year, "Warmth, Colour and Wonder in the World of ELT" is both a celebration and an invitation. It reflects our belief that teaching English is more than just methods and materials. It is a human, creative, and profoundly meaningful practice.

Warmth reflects the relationships we cultivate in our classrooms, between teacher and learner, among peers, and across cultures. In times of uncertainty or change, this warmth sustains us and reminds us of the heart of our profession.

Colour represents the richness and diversity of our learners' voices, experiences, and identities, creativity and culture. In every classroom, we meet a tapestry of stories that enliven our teaching and challenge us to reflect, adapt, and grow.

Wonder is perhaps the most vital of all. It is the spark that fuels curiosity, inspires the joy of discovery, encourages critical thinking, and fosters an openness to seeing the world and language in a fresh light.

At #TESOLSPAINSevilla2026, we aim to bring together voices from all corners of the ELT landscape, educators, researchers, and teacher trainers, to share ideas, build community, and rediscover what makes our work not only relevant but also inspiring.
